Hi Anna. Hi Sim. What's going on? Where are you? Tell me where you are. I'm in Italy talking to you, Sim. Yes. So we can do updates and ad reads. Well, first of all, it's it's 10 in the morning for you and it's midnight for me. And you're the one that sounds annoyed. How dare you? And I'm in Italy. You're the one having the time of your life. I'm such a jerk.

Oh my God. I miss you, Sim. How's everything? Everything is great. Baby time is around the corner. We'll see. How late is it there? It's like, you know, like 1215, 1230. This used to be early for me. But now I become incredibly old. Well, you also go to bed early too, right? You don't go to bed past like what 9 10 PM. Yeah. It's true. It's sad. So will you tell me? Will you tell me what you're doing?

In Italy. I'm on vacation and it's amazing. And I pretend to speak Italian. And I only know like three phrases, but everyone compliments me. Are you getting recognized? Sometimes, yeah. But you know, I'll say the same thing. Like, I'm really sorry. I don't speak well. And then somebody will say a version of, like, no, I know you do. You speak really well. And then they'll start to sort of elaborate or like enter into a conversation. I hope you can do it.

And then it's like, doveilbano, which means where's the best? Of course. That's your escape plan. I love it. I say, grazie, mile, grazie, mile. Doveilbano. Oh my God. That's adorable. I love that. I love that. All right. So we've got a lot to get to before we get to Miami, I like, first of all, I want to give everyone and you on an update on Megan situation. Do you remember Megan? Megan was from Logan Browning's episode. She wanted to try and have a long distance relationship with her boyfriend.

When he was about to go abroad instead of taking a break, but then he told her that he didn't see a future with her. But things were going really well. And she still wanted to stay together before he leaves to go out of the country. And you told Megan that she shouldn't just stay with him because of routine. Logan told Megan that people treat you like you allow them to treat you and advise Megan to know her own worth and not to operate out of fear. And you even told Megan to tell the guy.

To study abroad and see how he reacts, either he'll grow to miss her and love her more deeply while he's away or she'll be initiating the breakup. Either way, she is asserting her maturity and ensuring whatever happens is on her term. So that was your advice on her.

3:15.0

She actually wrote to us and told us what's going on. So Megan writes to us, it's Megan. I'm writing to update you on my relationship issues.

We spoke with Logan Brownie about my boyfriend of two years having told me he doesn't see a future with me and I was heartbroken and confused as to what to do. Well, we're broken up shortly after we spoke on the phone. He announced that he accepted a summer internship in a different state.

He then told me he was signing an apartment lease with a classmate of his for a fall semester at school. I was shocked. The advice you gave was incredible. And I was planning on going to him to address these issues and discuss what would happen with us moving forward.

3:54.0

But he clearly decided on his own that we were breaking up. He just didn't tell me on a positive note as heartbroken as I was. I wanted to make the best of the little time we had left. So we spent the last week we had an L.A. being a real couple going on dates having crazy sex.

Eating at our favorite places stuff we had done a long time. I also told him that I wanted to have some closure on the relationship and asked him to come to me with things he thought we did really well and things he thought were more of an issue for us.

4:26.0

The last night we had together was heartbreaking beautiful and I'm glad we got to have that experience together. We are both living through the break up in different ways and we're still in contact which I haven't decided how I feel about that yet but I wanted to let you guys know how much I took to heart what you said and I appreciate your advice on qualified as it is again. I love you and what you do I feel very fortunate that I was able to talk to you and I hope it helps anyone else out there going through the same or similar.

4:56.0

I love you Megan and thank you so much for updating us and that sounds like an incredibly mature way to deal with the break up and I'm really glad that it's hard as it is that you ended things sort of as positively as possible.

5:15.0

I'm just glad it ended. I was hoping that it was I don't care if it was it was him doing the breaking up or I just wanted it to end and I'm glad it ended sooner than later.

5:25.0

Yeah, me too. So do you remember also on that same episode Malia she was rejected from her professional dance team. Yes, yeah remember that and she was asking for advice. I mean she was devastated.

5:38.0

You know what Leah got a lot of positive feedback. It was really great to read all of it. I'm just going to read a couple of things here. This is from Leah and Leah wrote in. Hey guys, I just listened to your episode with Logan Browning and I think you are completely spot on with your advice to Malia.

5:54.0

I went to an art school for college and totally saw similar situations happen with myself and my friends there. What I found is that when something you love like dance or visual art comes naturally to you and you're always given really positive feedback on how talented you are.

6:10.0

You start to identify with that good feedback. The problem is if you enter a highly competitive environment like art school or Malia's dance try out.

6:20.0

Everyone has those same talents. That means that getting past rejection or criticism is really challenging because it feels like a threat to your identity.

6:29.0

Not just one little bump in the road. I can't speak for Malia, but it sounds like that's a little bit of what's happening with her.

6:37.0

The thing is in situations like that rising to that new higher standard is usually what you need to do to keep improving. It sounds like Malia has learned all she can from the environments where she's practiced dance before and it might be time for her to step out of her comfort zone again if she wants to keep getting better and pursuing her dream.
