Welcome to Karen Hunter is awesome. I'm Karen Hunter and today is May 4th. So may the fourth be with you.

Yes, this is the fourth day of my fourth 40-day journey. I can't make this stuff up. And I do believe there's something very spiritual when you start to put yourself in alignment, that things start to conspire to be in alignment with you. And it doesn't just happen magically. You have to be intentional. So as you guys know, and if you can go back to

previous podcast, I am this year every 40 days kind of doing a reset or an addition to or I'm

looking at the last 40 days and seeing how I can improve. And as I went through my 40 days,

the previous 40 days, the third iteration of it, I realized I

didn't do anything, at least according to my daily planner.

Now, my goal this year was to, you know, kind of mark and chronicle and journal what I was

going to be doing every 40 days.

But on the last 40 days, the second one closed out, I was going to be doing every 40 days. But on the last 40 days, the second one

closed out. I was headed to Miami. I was invited to Miami by the president of One United.

She's doing a podcast that is what your my honey. And my honey is her grandmother, a great

grandmother who actually was the inspiration for her getting into

business. And it was something that she had ignored because she was embarrassed by her.

invited me because she called and asked me, you know, what's your my honey story? And I was like,

I really don't have one. I have always kind

of celebrated the people in my life. And then I realized I did not celebrate my mom as much as I could

publicly. And a lot of times we, I think we take the people who do the most for us for granted.

So I spent my time with Terry Williams in Miami, Florida, talking about my mom.
