Good morning. It's Wednesday, May 29th. I'm your host Ryan Williams, and these are your

sword and scale daily true crime headlines. Today we dive into three high-profile cases from across the globe, all of which are smack dab in the middle of the respective murder trials.

57-year-old Greg Len, a former jet star pilot, is accused of murdering an elderly couple while

camping in Victoria, Australia in 2020.

Also in the land down under, we have Justin Stein, who is accused of murdering his fiance's nine-year-old daughter in New South Wales back in January of 2022.

And last but not least, in the good old US of A, we have Fairfield Ohio resident 35-year-old John Carter, who is currently in the hot

seat for the alleged murder of his 22-year-old art student fiance, Caitlin Markham, who disappeared

back in 2011. All of this right now on Sorenscale Daily.

In March 2020, deer hunting hobbyist Greg Lynn was camping at Bucks Camp, a remote site in Victoria, Australia's high countryside.

Now near his campsite, Carol Clay and Russell Hill, a couple in their 70s, were enjoying their own time out in nature.

At Mr Lynn's trial, which is now entering its third week,

the prosecutors and the defense agreed that during the camping trip

an altercation broke out between the two parties over a drone the defendant had been flying.

They believed this incident ultimately resulted in the shooting death of the elderly couple.

The jury was presented with evidence, indicating that the defendant allegedly painted

his vehicle a different color, and that a trailer was used to transport and move the bodies,

not once but twice sometime after the shooting.

Only adding to the depravity of this case,

the remains of Carol Clay and Russell Hill

were found incinerated and burnt to a crisp.
