quote surprise witness and a shocking development in the involuntary manslaughter

case against Alec Baldwin as a judge has given the green light for the case to go to trial.

Chad Day Bell, also known as the doomsday prophet, is accused of the murders of his late wife Tammy Daybell and Lori Valo Daybell's two children, Tyley Ryan and J.J. Valo.

If convicted, Chad Daybell would be eligible for the death penalty.

Now while his trial nears its end, many wondered if Chad would take the stand in his defense.

One of the witnesses for the defense, Chad and Tammy's son Garth, was asked to recall the evening

before his mother was found dead.

Garth explained he was working at a haunted house and after his shift ended he drove to his family home arriving somewhere around 1 a.m.

He stated that as he walked to his bedroom he passed his parents room and heard the sound of Chad snoring.
