Coming up on Sword and Scale Daily, a Washington man is facing federal murder charges in the

death of 21-year-old Dianeth Lopez, whose body was discovered on the logging road in the

Olympic National Forest.

Police in North Carolina say that 19 children between the ages of 9 and 16 were involved in

a recent stream of car hice at dealerships in the Winston-Salem area.

Finally, a California man who was suspected of murdering his estranged girlfriend

and her two sons was taken into custody in Colorado following a day-long manhunt.

The peninsula Daily News reports that on Friday, federal prosecutors charged Alejandro

Rojas with second-degree murder in connection with the killing of 21-year-old California

woman, Dianeth Lopez.

Prosecutors alleged that Rojas, who was married with children, was having an affair with Lopez

and murdered her after she flew in from California to visit him.

Lopez's body was discovered near a logging road in a Olympic National Forest on Valentine's

Day, a story that we shared with you at the time.

She was identified after being reported missing in California.

According to the medical examiner, Lopez suffered blunt force trauma to the head and

blunt and sharp force injuries to her neck, torso and arms.

They included 11 stab wounds to the right side of her back, as well as incised wounds to
