Obtain court documents that set out Oregon's case against Nancy Brofee, who was charged with

a murder of her husband, Daniel Brofee.

The documents were made available this week at a bail hearing, which Nancy requested

in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her request for bail was denied.

In the documents, Multnomah County District Attorney, Rod Underhill, alleged that Nancy

killed Dan Verne's insurance money and ended up $1.5 million richer after his death.

The couple had been living month to month, which according to Underhill, satisfied Dan,

but not Nancy.

Quote, Dan Brofee was content in his simplistic life, but Nancy wanted more.
