We’ve all been tested over the past year, and for many, these trying times have revealed who we really are – both good and bad. The question in today’s Mindset Monday is how do you tap into that good and leave the bad behind so you can grow from the experience?

So depending upon where you are in the world, I'm reflecting a lot about the last year, right?

The last year, and the question I keep asking myself is, what is COVID-19? What is the lockdowns?

What is all the business disruption? All the craziness and politics? What is it brought out of me?

What did it reveal in me? Think about that question for you. The last 12 plus months,

what has all of this revealed about your mindset, about your beliefs, about your routines,

about your family, about your friends, about your work, about your drive, about your ambition?

Now, I'm not judging anybody. I'm just asking you to look inward, right? When I look inward,

what I see is moments where I was afraid, and I see moments where I stood up like a lion being

a champion, and all I'm asking myself is, how can I do more of this and less of that?

We all had moments of uncertainty. You had them. I had them. We all had them. If you didn't,

you're not alive, or you're totally full of you know what? But we also had moments like this,

and what it revealed for me was, I'm a great wartime general, that when my backs against the wall,

I will go out and do whatever it takes to help my clients, to help my tribe, to help my family,

to help my friends, and that's what I've got my best. But I also acknowledge there was a lot of

fear, there was a lot of uncertainty, and I reflect back on what worked to get myself out of that

state, and what I did that maybe made that state even worse for me, I just want to learn the lessons,

because we may or may not ever experience in our lifetime a pandemic like this, but we will

experience something that reveals who you really are. Who are you? Really? And what did the pandemic

reveal about you?
