From Matthew Stafford's standpoint, why, if you're him, would you want to go play someplace else?

He's already won a Super Bowl with Sean McVeigh.

He's a perfect fit for the offense.

He's got a great relationship with the coach.

He loves living in L.A. So if it's in neither party's best interest to consider dat a divorce,

then why are they exactly, are they considering that a divorce?

Now, we know the answer, of course.

I posed the question and it's a very obvious answer as to why either or both sides would

consider that a divorce.

Essentially the only reason anything ever happens, right?

Money.

Why does anybody do anything? One, because they can.

Two, and or the paper. So Stafford leaving the Rams, to me, is not in anybody's best interest,

except for Stafford's banker. It's in nobody's best interest except for his bank account. Now, the reality is he's

working on a contract right now. He's still in a contract, but not very much that money's guaranteed.

That's why he wants a new deal. And he's worth more than he's making right now when you consider

how little is guaranteed. Of course. Last year, the Rams borrowed from

the future to give them that pay bump and to get them in camp. And they did at the last second.

Everybody always knew that that was just a Band-Aid. Everybody always knew that there would need to be a

new deal this year. But why think about this year, last year, get the guy in and let's see how it goes?
