1:02.5	And so we are going to explore the Gospel of Matthew chapter 5 but as a as a wrap up to this week I really just want to
1:19.0	explore verses one and two next week we're going to start into the entire chapter on Monday.
1:28.7	But I know you are winding down from work.

1:34.7	You're ready for your weekend.
1:37.4	And I know that there are some depths that we go to that can take a while to process.
1:48.0	But I want to spend time because we're entering into a shift into Matthew's gospel in Matthew 5.
1:55.6	And I want to explore verses 1 and 2.
1:59.7	And next week, Monday, we'll deal with the entirety of the chapter.
2:06.6	But I don't want to rush through what Matthew is doing here.
2:14.2	I want to take a pause in verse one and two and show exactly what he's trying to communicate here in verses one and two because this is the launching pad into everything that he's trying to communicate

2:42.3	Remember, he is presenting Jesus as the new Moses that leads the people of God, not out of the slavery of Egypt, but out of the slavery
