Open AI, Google, Microsoft, you know, Anthropic, you name it, they're very, very incentivized to

keep the public thinking that this like AGI, this superintelligence, this next big thing is just

right around the corner. The big competitor now is probably going to be meta with all the money

and talent and everything that they're pumping into it. U.S. and China are kind of in a cold war right now, right?

We're in this cold war to be the first to achieve this AGI.

Any of us who are like really, really paying close attention to AI

are both like excited but also a little bit scared.

I wouldn't be shocked to learn right now that a lot of our government was

like run by chat GPT. Hey, I'm Matt Wolf. I've got a YouTube channel focused on all of the

where I also share the latest AI news and tools. And so excited to chat with you. We have learned so much from those, from everything you've, like, shared over the years. I mean, I was watching your stuff before I started my channel, and it was part of the inspiration. So thanks for just plugging through for all these years now, I guess. Yeah, I mean, it's a fun space to be in, get to meet a lot of cool people.

You know, Dylan and I, we've gotten to hang out, I think, a couple times now. Yeah. And, yeah,

it's just been an awesome space, so much fun stuff to play with and to test and to mess around

with constantly. And lots and lots of good people doing really, really smart work as well. So it's been a really fun ride. Yeah, I know sometimes you would say when you were at the conferences, like the Google conference, you'd be at a chance to talk to some of the engineers actually building the stuff, but they're not on the highest level where they have to like do the marketing spiel, but they can actually get into the guts of what works and what doesn't work? Like from some of those insights, what are you

gleaning? Like what does it feel like the industry is like under the surface? Yeah, I mean,

it's interesting because I feel like in the sort of like general public, right, you've got the

big tech companies. And I think the general public sees the big

tech companies is like these evil, big corporations that only care about, you know, shareholder

profits and making as much money as possible. And, you know, they'll still your data and they'll

train models on it. And they don't really care about the user. And I think maybe like in the grand

scheme of things like as a corporate structure, I think a lot of these businesses are very,

very focused on like shareholder profits and, you know, doing what they can for shareholders.
