So we know that 80 to 90% of people, when they make some New Year's resolutions and they

make some decisions for their life, they want to get in better shape. They're going to start

making their phone calls. They're going to be more effective. This is going to be the year.

We know they're completely full of you know what. All the studies show that by February,

all of that is gone. So my question for you is, how are you going to separate yourself?

How is this year going to be different? Why is this year going to be different? You've experienced

it. I've experienced it. We've made too many commitments in the past. And by the time we get to

February, there's maybe only one or two that we're actually doing. And there's seven or eight that

we're not doing. And guess what? We get more fixated on the seven to eight that we're not doing.

And we don't honor the fact that we had one or two that we were absolutely falling through on.

My question for you is, like in my last video, have you prioritized what's truly important?

So you can do the work and you can go all in on one or two things that will create massive amounts

of momentum versus having this monstrous list of 27 new disciplines you're suddenly going to take on

and become effective. It doesn't work. This is the kind of year where we need to focus. Like no other

years in the past, where you got to focus on doing the thing that gives you the power. Not the things,

the thing that gives you the power. In sales, I would argue the only leading indicator to your

success is scheduling an appointment. Maybe that's just the thing for you that if I just schedule

an appointment every single day and I make that my commitment, I know that everything else in my

business will ultimately work out because nothing else is going to happen unless I'm talking to

customers face to face about buying and selling real estate or whatever it is you do. Does that make

sense? Think about it. The vast majority of people in a few weeks, their business plan is shot,

their goals and dreams are gone and they're just back to being the same old person they've always been.
