Are we still shocked? Really? Are we still shocked that a man is despicable and craven and greedy and grifty and destructive as Donald would be all of the things he is and doing all of the things he's doing?

Are we still shocked that he would have the audacity, the complete lack of self-awareness to announce that he is ordering a triumphal arch to be built

and placed at the entrance of the memorial bridge that leads from Arlington National Cemetery to the Lincoln Memorial in honor of

well if you were thinking the 250th anniversary of the founding of this country, you would be wrong because he wants

this arch built to honor him. Are we shocked that he's calling this monstrosity the arc to Trump?

That quite frankly makes me want to die of shame. But there's a potential bright side here someday.

If we survive all of this, we might be able to repurpose the arch.

So that could be fun.

Are we shocked when somebody who has never created anything in his life would destroy the

people's house so wantonly without permission after having lied about his intentions.

I've said this many times.

We don't have any right anymore to be surprised or shocked by anything.

I've said it's time and time again.

So let's shift our focus, shall we?

Donald is going to keep getting away with anything he can get away with.

That is his modus operandi from time immemorial.

He pushes the envelope.

He sees how far he can go.

If he gets away with it, he pushes further.

So let's turn our attention to the people who are allowing all of this to happen.
