Donald's authoritarianism is posing a real and increasing threat to our democracy, but together, as we saw last week, we can raise our voices and fight back against his lawlessness.

Around the country, there are inspiring cases of institution individuals who are doing just that, and today I want to focus on a few of those.

MSNBC has reported that Arizona's Attorney General, Chris Mays, is suing the United

States House of Representatives. Why? Well, because Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, is continuing

to delay the swearing in of Adelita Grahalva. Last month, Grahalva, a Democrat,

was voted in to represent the 7th District of Arizona. The Arizona Attorney General said

House Speaker Mike Johnson refuses to do his job. In a statement to MSNBC, Mays added,

quote, for weeks, the Speaker has Stonewalled delayed and twisted himself

into knots trying to justify what is at its core, a brazen act of voter disenfranchisement,

unquote. Johnson is obviously putting off seating, Rahava, because she'll provide the final

signature needed to advance a petition to release the Epstein files.

Presumably, those files could well expose criminality of people like Donald Trump.

We'll see what the courts have to say about Johnson's bootlicking cowardice,

but it is important to put into context what he is,

in fact, doing. It isn't just voter disenfranchisement. It is, in its broadest sense,

Johnson overturning the results of a free and fair election, which is something that Donald

complains about all the time.

But of course, we should be used to Republican hypocrisy

by now.

We shouldn't stand for it, however.

The Congresswoman needs to be seated yesterday.
