You know how it goes. How do you know that Donald Trump is lying? He's opening his mouth.

We saw yesterday the desecration of the east wing of the White House, which continued throughout the

week, and it was wholly unnecessary. But the complete destruction of that building followed Donald's

promising the destruction of his obscenely opulent and expensive ballroom

would not touch the White House structure at all. But that's just of a piece with everything

else Donald has been doing in the last 10 years. It's only accelerated and gotten worse in the last

10 months because nobody's bothering to stop him. In fact, they're not even bothering to try.

Donald is literally like the character from a 1961 Twilight Zone episode, It's a Good

Life, played by Billy Mummy.

The episode is about a little boy who can force the adults around him to do whatever he

demands because if they refuse, he has the power to turn them

into grotesque creatures. These creatures are so horrifying to those he's holding captive

that they beg him to send his victims out to the cornfield because they are just too awful to behold.

I've been thinking about this character Anthony Fremont since Donald ran for president in 2015,

because that's who he is. He has the mental and emotional maturity of a pre-pupressant boy

and the impulse control of a toddler, and yet he's still in charge

of everything.

And everybody who's in a position to challenge him or curtail his power is apparently

afraid of him.

There's one big difference, though, between Donald and Anthony, the character.

If he thwarted Anthony, he could literally destroy you and banish you

to the cornfield. What's Donald going to do to you? Well, I mean, he could, and this is just an
