Matt Frazier joined today by a special guest. His name is Martin Rowe. He's the

editor of a new book, one that I actually contributed to called

running eating and thinking and that's out by Lantern Books and just I think

this is going to be a little bit of a different episode. It's going to be somewhat more of a philosophical,

you know, perhaps ethical discussion, which is something we really don't get into that often on no-made athlete.

We generally stick more to the, you more to the nutritional aspects of it.

But we did a Gene Dower episode and that one kind of got into some of the ethical stuff.

And it's kind of a good link because Gene is actually the contributor of the very

first essay in this book and the book of course is a series of 15 essays.

So let's just get into the talking about the book here.

I mean, I don't have a lot of plans for a really structured discussion, kind of just the nature

of this topic.

It didn't seem like that would be the best way to do things.

So I have a few different questions here I wanted to ask you about, but really I think we should

just let the conversation go where it will and we'll see what comes up.

So what I want to talk about first is just kind of the origins of the book and where it came from.
