EMF's, electromagnetic fields, a pernicious health risk, but how do they damage your health?

Hi, this is Dr. Mercola helping you take control of your health, and today we are beyond honored and privilege to have someone

0:17.1

to talk to and help educate us on this topic. And I believe there's very few people I've interviewed. I've interviewed a lot of people but very few who I believe truly deserve a Nobel Prize for his pioneering research in this area to help us understand and identify the mechanism of how electromagnetic fields damage our cell.

He's uniquely gifted to do this because he has training in physics and biochemistry.

0:48.2

And I think the physics, one of them is from Caltech and the other is from Johns Hopkins.

0:51.8

So two very prestigious universities and he's also

0:54.2

a professor emeritus at Washington State University. And the man is Dr. Martin Paul,

0:59.6

PLLL and we are just you're in for an engaging amazing conversation so welcome and

1:06.3

thank you for joining us today Dr Paul. Thank you thank you it's a

1:09.4

pleasure. So before we start engaging it says I just want people

1:12.0

understand your background and why as I, you're so uniquely gifted in this area because most researchers

1:16.8

don't have your skill set in training to understand the molecular biology of what goes on to how EMFs can cause

1:24.0

as damage. Okay well I got my bachelor's in physics and I got my PhD in

1:29.0

chemistry and genetics and what I've been doing for the last 18 years or so is working on basically the medical literature, including basic science medical

1:45.0

literature putting things together that have been done by other people.

1:49.3

There's a huge amount of information out here that, you know, that nobody's got time to reach, nobody's

1:56.3

got time to integrate and digest and make connections.

2:00.1

So that's what I've been doing for predominantly for the last 18 years.

2:03.8

I was interested in EMS before, you know, before I understand what, how they work.

2:12.1

But, and what how they work but and and so when I stumbled onto basically two papers that

2:19.0

told me well this looks like the way they work and then I dug out more and more papers initially 23 and then 24 and 26.

2:28.4

And actually there are a number of others I haven't published on.
