and an actor who are struggling through a coast-to-coast divorce that pushes them

to their personal and creative extremes. In addition to marriage story, Mr. Bombach's

credits include the feature films The Myrowitz Stories, new and selected, Francis Haugh,

Margo at the wedding, the squid and the whale, and kicking and screaming. Following a recent screening of the film at the DGA theater in New York

I know after I saw the movie, I needed a moment.

So, I don't know, it just would be for me,

like after I saw the movie, I was really affected.

I have mixed feelings about the film.

On the one hand, I feel like it's your most accomplished,

emotionally accessible, and well-realized work.

And on the other hand, I'm not in it.

And I'm just hoping there's no then diagram there.

I don't know.

It's really, it's a beautiful film and congratulations.
