We attend first to the markets.

The Wall Street Journal is pointing to the turmoil in the markets these days.

But I remind myself whenever there's, say, something you can't explain,

I remember the 19th century advice.

Markets go up and down.

And that's certainly the case right now with the Magnificent 7.

They're not going up as we got used to in the 2024-20203.

And you will recall, there's the S&P 493, and then there's a Magnificent 7.

So the market thinks that there's an unpredictable nature going on.

But it's not Donald Trump. The market is not

demonstrating a particular alarm at the president's remarks about tariffs and the economy,

nor is it particularly alarmed about partisanship. That would be Mr. Musk. In fact, it looks

to be behaving itself, waiting earnings for some big companies. And at the same

time, the Federal Reserve is not especially alarmed. Liz, I know it's very dangerous to say things
