Street Journal. Steve, thanks so much for coming on. Hey, Jeffrey, good to be with you. Merry Christmas,

my friend. Happy holidays. Happy New Year. Okay, I want to ask you about something. So I, I don't,

I will tell you right now. I'm not a TikTok fan. I don't have TikTok, but I know what's going on

on TikTok. There's this trend called the silent depression. And what it says is Americans are really not

feeling good about where they're standing with the economy, their financial standing, even though

they are being told that the country is doing well with inflation and unemployment. What is

that discrepancy? What's going on?

Well, it's a great question. So the Biden people are mystified by why, gee, why are people so,

you know, angry and why are people feeling so dire about the economy? Because, you know,

the economy has gotten better. but here's the thing.

If you're a high-income person, you know, and you've got a lot of money in stocks and so on, it's been a good year.

No question about it.

I mean, the stock market's been on a tear, and, you know, the economy is getting better, you know, for higher-income people.

If you're a working class or lower income and you're living paycheck to paycheck,

you're still getting clobbered because inflation is up 20% since Biden came into office.

How many people do you think have gotten, you know, have gotten a 20% pay raise over the last couple of years, not many?
