Most of the nation understands that our history is bad.

In some level, there's a few people who are in complete space of denial that won't acknowledge

anything, but most people have some general sense that part of our nation's history is bad or negative.

And so when they get confronted by it, they immediately want to address it, change it,

repent of it, and move on.

And that's before they even understand the depth of the problem.

And so what I'm trying to tell people is no, when you hear this history,

when you understand what's been broken, oftentimes you're only hearing the tip of the iceberg,

you're only hearing a few of the things that have gone wrong.

And you don't yet understand the depth of the problem to be able to fix it.
