Hello, my little beef medallions. It's me, Allison.

Congratulations on finding and downloading part two of the Maria Manuno's episode. Great work.

Before we start, I want to say a few things. I want to tell you guys about what's going on with me and why you might detect a little bit of a down-ness in my voice.

But I have to be vague about it. So this is going to be a great story.

Anyway, I was up for this opportunity, shall we say.

It's a pilot. And it's the kind of thing where it wasn't like the perfect thing for me, but it was something that sort of, you know, more like in the direction of things that I want.

And it would have been cool, but it also would have totally complicated my life.

But I was very flattered that they had reached out to me. And anyway, but going into it, I was like, I'm kind of in the perfect position.

Because if I don't get it, I'll be relieved. Because now I don't have to figure out like 12,000 things that I would have had to figure out if it happened.

But if I do get it, but you know, that's exciting. So anyway, I found out that I didn't get it.

And it's funny how much my feeling that if I didn't get it, I'd be relieved completely flew out the window.

And instead I just went, oh, okay, even though I'm totally aware that this is not a bad thing.

And actually of all the reasons to not get something, this was like the best case scenario because it wasn't that I wasn't good on the contrary.

I was phenomenal. I realized that something there again. I meant it kind of in a joking way. But I also think I was good.

But no, it was more that like a sort of top, it was a top level decision to go with something else.

Something's changed. And you know, it looks like they would like to use me in a capacity that doesn't completely complicate my life.

So everything turned out in the way that it was supposed to and the way that is actually allows me to, like, this is the best of all world.
