Presented by Facebook. Good Wednesday morning. I'm Adrienne Hurst and welcome to your

0:05.9

Playbook Daily briefing. It's Infrastructure Day. This afternoon in Pittsburgh, Biden will formally

0:11.7

pull back the curtain on his multi-trillion dollar infrastructure plan. His first swing at an effort,

0:17.6

both Obama and Trump tried and failed to deliver. Already, Biden's plan is

0:22.7

dodging blows from all sides of the political spectrum. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says this thing

0:28.6

needs to be way bigger than it already is. She points out the bill is more than $2 trillion

spread out over several years compared with the COVID bills nearly two trillion

1:27.2

That's exactly what Biden

1:28.4

plans to do, boosting the rate from 21% to 28%. The White House says attaching a corporate tax

1:34.7

overhaul to infrastructure will get the package fully paid for in 15 years. Here's your playbook

1:40.3

crew's initial read on the plan based on all these reactions. First, keeping Dems united

1:45.5

will be a way heavier lift here than it was with COVID relief. On that front, Dems largely deferred to

1:51.2

the White House because of the urgency of the crisis. Second, good luck finding 10 Republicans to support
