As everyone knows by now, because we've been talking about it incessantly,

this week we've been trying to live on $3 worth of food per day.

Something that on the list of all of the hairbrain schemes that we've launched on this show,

which includes running a marathon, going on the wagon for two weeks, trying to do 100 push-ups,

of all of our ridiculous challenges, this I think is unquestionably the hardest and most

surprising, but probably the most educational. And we're very excited to have somebody on the

phone line who has been spending a lot of time, well really her whole professional life,

trying to promote the idea of organic food and things that are locally grown and getting

away from fast food and much more towards something called the slow food movement.
