Hi, friends. I'm Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books in the New Testament of the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

These are the stories of Jesus Christ's life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, the miracles.

April, I mean, we got lots of March left, but April is coming. And you know what we always say around here? You don't have to be in the Gospels every day to be changed, but every day you are in the Gospels will change you.

So I'm glad you're here with us. We're reading the Gospels this month in chronological order. So that means it's all mixed up.

Each day I'm going to tell you the scripture references and the stories are main themes that we'll hit. And then as I read, I'll tell you the headings and if the story is in more than one gospel, I'll tell you which gospel as I read.

And today is March 22nd day, 22 and I will be reading John 12, 20 to 50, Mark 11, 12 to 14, Matthew 21, 18 to 22, Mark 11, 15 to 19, Matthew 21, 12 to 17, Luke 19, 45 to 48, Mark 11, 20 to 33, Matthew 21, 23 to 27, Luke 21 to 8, Matthew 21, 28 to 32.

Mark 12, 1 through 12, Matthew 21, 33 to 46 and Luke 29 to 19. Today we will see Jesus clear the temple and hear a few parables and stories.

The translation I'm reading from this month is the new living translation.

This is day 22 in chronological order. Jesus predicts his death.

Some Greeks who had come to Jerusalem for the Passover celebration paid a visit to Philip who was from Bethesda in Galilee. They said, Sir, we want to meet Jesus.

Philip told Andrew about it and they went together to ask Jesus. Jesus replied, Now the time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory.

I tell you the truth unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone.

But its death will produce many new kernels, a plentiful harvest of new lives. Those who love their life in this world will lose it.

Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity.

Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me because my servants must be where I am and the Father will honor anyone who serves me.

Now my soul is deeply troubled. Should I pray, Father, save me from this hour, but this is the very reason I came.

Father, bring glory to your name. Then a voice spoke from heaven, saying, I have already brought glory to my name and I will do so again.

When the crowd heard the voice, some thought it was thunder while others declared an angel had spoken to him.

Then Jesus told them, The voice was for your benefit, not mine. The time for judging this world has come when Satan, the ruler of this world, will be cast out.
