Hi, friends. I'm Annie F. Downs. Let's read the Gospels. The Gospels are the first four books in the New Testament in the Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

These are the stories of Jesus Christ's life on earth, the friendships, the parables, the sacrifices, the meals, and the miracles.

Each month, we're going to read all four books. As you know, so go ahead, subscribe today, rate and review the show if you get a chance and join us as we read the Gospels together.

You know what we say around here a lot? You don't have to read the Gospels every day to be changed, but every day you're in the Gospels will change you.

So we're reading in chronological order. We are two-thirds of the way through this month. That means we are walking toward Holy Week, and we get all four books today.

So every day, I'm going to tell you the scripture references, the stories are main themes we're going to hit, and then as I read, I'll tell you the headings and if the story is more than one gospel, which happens a lot today, I'll tell you which gospel as I read.

So today is March 21st, day 21, and I will be reading Matthew 20, 29 to 34, Mark 10, 46 to 52, Luke 18, 35 to 43, Luke 19, 1 to 27, Mark 14, 3 through 9, Matthew 26, 6 to 13,

John 12, 1 to 11, Mark 11, 1 to 11, Matthew 21, 1 to 11, Luke 19, 28 to 40, John 12, 12 through 19, and Luke 19, 41 to 44.

We have some healing stories with Jesus, Jesus anointed at Bethany and the triumphal entry.

The translation I'm reading from this month is the new living translation.

This is day 21 in chronological order. Jesus heals two blind men.

As Jesus and the disciples left the town of Jericho, a large crowd followed behind two blind men were sitting beside the road.

When they heard that Jesus was coming that way, they began shouting, Lord, it's son of David, have mercy on us.

Be quiet, the crowd yelled at them, but they only shouted louder. Lord, son of David, have mercy on us.

When Jesus heard them, he stopped and called, what do you want me to do for you?

Lord, they said we want to see Jesus felt sorry for them and touched their eyes instantly they could see.

Then they followed him.

Jesus heals blind Bartimaeus from Mark.

Then they reached Jericho and as Jesus and his disciples left town, a large crowd followed him.

A blind beggar named Bartimaeus, son of Tameus, was sitting beside the road.

When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was nearby, he began to shout, Jesus, son of David, have mercy on me.

Be quiet, many of the people yelled at him, but he only shouted louder, son of David, have mercy on me.
