| 0:41.5 | But Mark Henry studied Protestant theology at the University of Geneva to become a pastor. |
| 0:48.7 | And he practiced that profession as a life mission for over 15 years in an evangelical church. So you can imagine |
| 0:56.5 | we're going to get into some interesting conversations today. Deep questioning led him to resign |
| 1:02.0 | after 15 years and he realized that the many blocks that were at the core of his faith led him to oftentimes the suffering behind them. |
| 1:13.7 | So he faced little by little his own shadows and began a long-term therapeutic and |
| 1:19.9 | integrative work to understand not only his faith, but some of the challenges that had happened |
| 1:25.0 | in his life. |
| 1:25.7 | He passed through a period of 10 years of |
| 1:28.5 | doubts, uncertainties, personal upheavals, professional, reinvention, and divorce. It was a very difficult |
| 1:36.7 | and dark period, but very rich and great value. He discovered meditation and yoga, thanks to |
| 1:43.1 | his current partner, the exceptional woman that is now |
| 1:46.2 | his wife. And he got training in mindfulness meditation at the University of Geneva, where he had |
| 1:51.3 | studied before, then in yoga, Nidra, and a few other forms as well. And so he's got an incredible, |
| 1:58.4 | incredible journey after the amputation of his left leg due to bone |
| 2:03.2 | cancer in May of last year in 2018. |
