Confidentiality and bosses. But what if you're a manager? What does confidentiality mean to you?

Well, today that's what we're going to cover managers and confidentiality. Here we go Okay, so we covered this with our career tools folks, this being confidentiality with bosses or

a direction in this case.

So we've got to talk about it from the perspective of the manager because it's different. And we we got the managers need to know how they're going to respond to these

questions because they're going to get asked right so what do we do when one of our directs

comes up wants to share something with us, but ask for

confidentiality first. Right. So, you know, can we offer it? Whatever could they be

wanting to talk about that requires it? Yeah, we're, I mean that's what I think is

this should be interesting. Maybe we're being set up, right?

Right.

I mean, I just, when people ask that,

and I have a pretty standard policy,

I don't go off the record.

And it's just, it's consulting state of mind, which is somebody wants to go off the record then tells you they're hiding funds or something.

You know, there's consultants were employed by the firm. We have an obligation.

Some people might argue that differently,

but so when people say, you know, off the record,

I said, oh, I'm sorry I don't do that.

But at the same time, I go, well, this ought

to be interesting.
