About the robot takeover, artificial intelligence is replacing human intelligence.

And pretty soon, we will all be answering to robots, including that probe bot that walks through the hallways of the hospital and probes people in the butt.

And so it's time now for us to dig deep inside of the robot's brain as we figure out, do us humans

stand a chance when it comes to all things that eventually will be jobs that will probably go to robots,

including nursing, which, you know, I think the human part of that is such an important part of that job.

It's not just I can administer the shot and I know how to check your temperature and I know how to

get you comfortable, but the human...

It's the bedside manner.

That's everything.

You lose all of that with the robot unless they figure that part out.

So for nurses week, it's man versus machine nursing time

with the robot versus the human. Here we go. Man, when I had my kid, I don't think I said two words

to the person who actually took the baby out of me, but I knew every single nurse by name by the end of that.

And I was so effing thankful for every single one of them. Yeah, look, I know that the person who's probably taking the baby out is getting the big bucks,

but it's the nurses that are picking up your piles of crap off the table. Yeah, they're doing the before and after, they're checking up on you. Right, making sure you're good, not freaking out, they've got to put the epidural in you and all that stuff. I mean, the nurses, let's be honest, they are heroes.
