The NFL is not making us wait today.

Another big signing at the skill positions, Isaiah likely reaching an agreement with the New York Giants,

apparently is a three-year deal that will send likely from Baltimore to the Giants.

Where up, that sound you just heard was Theo Johnson's dynasty value evaporating.

I wouldn't panic entirely over Theo Johnson, but I made a joke today on my serious XM show

that oftentimes NFL free agency is where dynasty dreams go to die. Well, that may have happened a little bit here

with Theo Johnson because obviously what are you getting in Isaiah likely? You are getting a premium

pass catching tight end. Now, we didn't see the full extent of his abilities with the Baltimore

Ravens simply put because the Ravens, there really hasn't been a point in the Lamar Jackson

era where the Ravens haven't been extremely run heavy. We also didn't see the full extent of

things because he was playing along with Mark Andrews, who over his time, Love and Merhaden,

has been a high volume pass catcher. Now, Mark Andrews is still going to be there. Mark Andrews is

still going to be Mark Andrews, which means he's going to be frustrating for fantasy purposes.

That doesn't change regardless of likely status. And I would suspect that the Baltimore Ravens

probably fill those shoes in some way, shape, or form it may not be with a likely type player, but it will be with another pass catching tight end. So I would not get your hopes up on Mark Andrews, especially at this point in his career. So let's focus on the giant side of things. The Giants had a need for pass catchers. Yes, they have Malik neighbors who will be coming back from injury, and all reports suggest he should be fine for the start of the season, but we'll see.

They have Darius Slayton, who's a field stretcher, who's only going to surface occasionally, as we know.

That's not going to change at this point in his career.

He's been in the league since 2019.

Wondale Robinson, though, is fully expected to leave in free agency.

So that means that you have a bit of a need

in the slot and you just got a big slot receiver in Isaiah likely. Now likely by tight end standards

is not the biggest dude. He's 6 foot 4, 245. but he can move really well for that size and he is
