This, I gotta just say, this is a total joy for me right now. Malcolm Spellman, who's my guest today,

is executive producer and creator of the upcoming Marvel series, the Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

He is also the executive producer and driving creative force behind hip hop explained on

FX covered explained to a guy like me. It's explained. I understand it's hip hop uncovered,

but it's explaining it to me, you know, how the streets are tied into the life and all that

stuff on FX, which is awesome. I've been watching it, but he's also manages the great modern

blues artist fantastic, Negrito, who won his third Grammy Award last night and Malcolm doesn't

just manage him. He basically is his creator partner and together they figured out how to get

this whole thing going as creative partners, business partner and Malcolm basically knew he was

talented and figured out a way to help him get his stuff to the world. Beyond all that though,

and all the incredible stuff that's going on. Malcolm, it's rare that there's someone on this show

who is truly, you know, they're my family members and Dave, whatever, truly somebody I love.

This is one of my best friends in the business. There's no doubt about it. This is somebody that I trust

completely and we've trusted each other for a long time and I am just so thrilled as you know,

Malcolm, by this moment you're having right now. So I'm so psyched to have this talk with you at
