For some, the Christian life has been reduced to a one day a week church service experience,

and yet God, in His Word, teaches us that we are to walk with Him daily.

Today we look to God's Word to discover simple Bible principles that will help us our study on the daily Christian life, and yet I would challenge you, this is not the end, this is the beginning. This may be the end of our study on the daily Christian life and yet I would challenge you this is not the end

the real test comes are we going to make the most of every day and I'm leaving you with this

verse from Psalm 118 and verse 24 where the the Bible says, this is the day which the Lord

have made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Life is made up of lots of single days. We tend to

measure our life in years. We do so with birthdays, and there's nothing wrong with that.

And yet when you look at the emphasis of Scripture, it's not on years, it's on days.

They all count.

Every day matters.

My pastor used to say that we don't have a single day to waste.

I believe that.

And so, how do you make the most of every day?

Well, I believe the answers are found right in this verse.

Psalm 118, verse 24 is literally a verse for every day. You may want to write it somewhere, put it in a prominent place where you see it, memorize it, meditate on it, remind yourself of it every day.

Here are the things I would challenge you to remember every day. Number one, remember that every

day is God's gift. This is the day the Lord hath made. The same God who created the first day

is the God who created this day. He put you in it and he is at work in it on this very day. As you

study scripture, you find that today is the Lord's word.

Today is the Lord's day.
