Welcome to Enjoying the Journey with Evangelist Scott Pauli.

For some, the Christian life has been reduced to a one day a week church service experience,

0:22.6

and yet God, in His Word, teaches us that we are to walk with Him daily.

0:26.6

Today we look to God's Word to discover simple Bible principles that will help us as we live the daily Christian life. If I were to ask you today, are you in the ministry, what would you say?

0:51.2

Well, you may think, well, no, I'm not a pastor or I'm not an evangelist. Oh, but my friend,

0:56.5

God desires that every one of his people be a minister, ministering grace and ministering truth.

1:05.2

If I ask you, where is ministry done? Immediately some people would say, oh, that happens at the church.

1:47.8

I want us to conclude our study with the last mention.

1:52.0

A.T. Pearson, that great old Bible teacher, used to talk not only about the law of first mention, but he talked about the law of full mention.

1:59.3

That's all the references to a certain thing in Scripture. And then he said there's the law of full mention. That's all the references to a certain

2:00.9

thing in Scripture. And then he said there's the law of final mention. And that is that the

2:05.3

last time something is given in Scripture, it has lasting significance. It leaves behind a lasting

2:11.6

principle, something that is to continue. And indeed, that's the very case with the word daily,

2:18.6

as it's found the last time in our Bible. We discovered in James chapter two, interestingly enough in this book about Christian

2:23.6

works. We're not working our way to God. You could never do that. We're not working our way to
