Welcome to Enjoying the Journey with Evangelist Scott Paul.

For some, the Christian life has been reduced to a one day a week church service experience,

0:22.6

and yet God, in His Word, teaches us that we are to walk with Him daily.

0:26.6

Today we look to God's Word to discover simple Bible principles that will help us as we live the daily Christian life. Everywhere that I travel, I hear people say to me, we need revival.

0:53.7

Now I say amen to that, we do need revival, but I've started

0:56.5

asking them a question, a revival of what? You know, I'm afraid that sometimes when we speak about

1:02.6

revival, we're talking in such general terms that we don't know exactly what it is we're praying for

1:39.5

we live our lives every day. To begin this study, I want to take you to a book of the Bible that is not often

1:45.3

studied. It's the book of Abakic. It's found in the Old Testament and the minor prophets. Yes, that's in

1:51.1

your Bible. I promise you. Habakkuk is in there. It's probably in the section of your Bible where the

1:55.6

pages still stick together, where the pages are white, because it's one of the off-neglected portions of

2:02.3

Scripture.

2:03.2

Abakic is an amazing book.

2:04.8

It is a book of a broken heart.

2:07.1

It's the cry of a man who is burdened for his nation.
