All right, ladies and gentlemen, we had a move in the National Football League on Monday.

Sam Darnold traded from the Jets to the Carolina Panthers, which means that Teddy Bridgewater is going to be untethered.

Aside from the fact that your Fred Wins and your Mike Lowell's have the potential to be joined by a guy whose last

name is a town in Massachusetts. To me, the upside of Teddy Bridgewater is really accurate,

really smart, good leader, pretty mobile, little injury prone, but certainly a guy that you could win with.

I'm bringing in Joe Persson from the athletic to find out why indeed the Carolina Panthers

have pushed away from the table on this guy to go get, I'm seeing ghosts out there, Sam Darnold.

I mean, this is a player who I wanted the Patriots to jump on when he was a low-cost guy coming out of the Jets.

And I still thought he was a reasonable backup for Brady and a successor to him.
