Mike Lombardi is an Oracle, I think, when it comes to the New England Patriots and his GM shuffle podcast, I thought was fascinating this week.

I did as well. I did as well because it takes to sort of inside the draft room and the grading process, which is critical really to every team.

But the Patriots grading system has been pretty well established, whether it's in Michael Hawley's books or they've done press availability telling us how they grade some of these guys.

And so to get a little bit more insight on that and how it might apply to this year's quarterback class to me endlessly interesting. We've spent an insane amount of

time talking about whether or not the Patriots would make a jump up. Here's Mike Lombardi

talking about what the Patriots needs would be with his co-host, Adnan Verk, on how to fix the Patriots.

Check it out. This is a draft that can really impact their 2022 team when they won't have any cap or won't have any free agent money to spend. So they've got

to really look short term and long term here. I think they need a three technique. If they can get a

defensive tackle in there,

I think that would be certainly something that could really help them.

More speed on defense, another corner to help them cover.
