What a bit of telling me

As always, featuring the great Phil A. Perry, we have a lot to mind through because Robert Kraft

stepped to the mic this week.

We'll go through everything he said and all the candor he displayed right now on Tom Caron's

Patriots talk podcast. Phil, we asked for it. We got it. A stepping to the mic and a whole

bunch of candor. And it came from Robert Kraft, not Bill Belichick, but it doesn't matter.

We got some insight. We got a lot of insight. And from the number one person in the franchise to say as often as he did, Tom, that

essentially last year wasn't good enough to describe just how disappointed he was in that season

and to describe how hard it's been to try to rebound from that, I found all of that stuff

fascinating.

And it wasn't as, you know, I think Bill has portrayed a bit, a confluence of circumstances

and, you know, just some bill collecting and bill paying and accounts payable that led to that.

It was a lot of things, which we in the media and certainly many, many, many fans have pointed out as well.

And there's been a bit of a shell game, I think, when we talked to Bill Belichick

and actually do get them a little bit on the record as to what the issues are.

It's been a shell game to try and really pinpoint that, yeah, we have made some mistakes.

We're going to get into the sound bit by bit.
