I think it's safe to say that our life here is to be used in large part to prepare for eternity.

We only get one journey through this life, and we certainly might as well enjoy it. You might think, well,

is that really right? Am I supposed to just enjoy my life? Well, John 1010 says the thief comes

to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus said, I came that you might have and enjoy your life

and have it in abundance to the full until it overflows.

And see, the thing we have to realize is we don't have to be doing something enjoyable in order to enjoy life.

It's the joy of the Lord.

That's our strength.

And that's the real gift that he's given us

is we can have his joy

when you're doing an unpleasant chore

something you don't really want to do

but it helps

I find sometimes in the morning

I sit by myself

and smile

I do it seems to kind of get me jump started and I sit by myself and smile.
