Did Mike Pence just call Donald Trump a ham sandwich?

Welcome to Make Mine a Double with Michael Still.

Well, I don't know about you, but the last 12, 15 hours have been like swimming up stream,

sideways, white water rafting in a blizzard with the news that Donald Trump was finally

indicted by Manhattan, DA, Alvin Bragg.

It took the nation by surprise around 6 p.m. on Thursday evening.

And you could see folks just the, and really here and feel the energy around this becoming

more and more palpable as the evening wore on.

And it really settled in that, damn, this shit's about to happen.

You had those on the right bearing their breasts and throwing ashes on their heads and

running around screaming about persecution and throwing themselves on the altar of Trump

as a sacrifice in the moment.

And then those on the left who couldn't find enough poppers and balloons and confetti

to celebrate the news coming out of New York.

And now I kind of look at it and I'm a little bit more sober by it all.
