Welcome back. I'm Rebecca.

And I'm Gabe.

And this has been a bit of a whirlwind.

I know. This is, our fall has definitely kicked off in full steam.

I know. As you guys know, you've been listening along. Pierce got married. Then we had some at the week after that. We got about a three-day pause. And then kind of back at it, I was in Lynchburg this last weekend with an eight-hour delay in Atlanta airport, which... Flying these days is just not as fun as it used to be.

Yeah. But it was so worth it once I got there, but I got to my hotel at 1.30 in the morning. And then I had like four hours and spoke at nine. Yeah. Lots of late nights, early mornings. Yes. And then we went down. And I think this is a sweet thing to talk about your mother. you know, a lot of people I know listening at our age, your parents are going through these seasons where you're trying to navigate the best way to care for parents that are aging.

And that's just been something your family has been very engaged in.

Yeah, you guys, some of you who have followed me for a while on social media, I know, or even like done our study, even the rhythm study I talk about my dad passed seven years ago.

And so my mom's been a widow and she's, you know, been living alone for that long and longer even while he was in an assisted living. And so it's just a time to be caring for her now and all her needs and what she needs and what's the best care for her.

And we all kind of live all over the country.

So even just prayerfully concerning what that looks like and how to best serve her and what that will look like.

But we did go down and it was a whirlwind of just getting just things that

she needs and order in a way that she can live and function and do well. And so we just flew in

this morning. Like it's just been like a lot of loving well. I think I think I was convicted again

this week. But like what a gift and a privilege we have to care for those who

can't care for themselves as well, right? Like you and I've experienced this, obviously through

Kate and Joy parenting them for, Hey, for 24 years, Joy now since we got her seven years ago.
