We're back with a diary series, something we launched this podcast with.

In fact, I didn't even plan on really doing a podcast.

I just wanted to do the pre-opening diaries and I think this is how Bill Simms sucker me into doing podcasts at large.

And what we're going to get into is the post-opening diaries for Major Dome or Restaurant we opened up last year in Los Angeles.

And as a whole, what we're going to try to do with this podcast because it's been all over the place.

I'm still learning the ropes as to how to interview, how not to talk over our guests, how to ask meaningful questions.

But while we figure that out, I think what we're going to try to still do more of is talk about the restaurants that we operate, whether they're Major Dome or MoMoFuku in New York and some of the new restaurants that we're opening up.

Because the one thing I've heard from a lot of people in the profession and not in the profession.

If you just run a business or trying to figure out management in general, there's a lot of lessons that people seem to have learned.

So I'm encouraged by the fact that the feedback on just the business end of how we operate stuff and think about stuff has been meaningful.

So it's something we're going to continue to do, whether it's part of every podcast or we make it a repetitive thing.

So plan on hearing more of that.

And we're just going to try to do more useful stuff about travel, about where to eat, and things that happen in my life.

And then obviously the interviews, but the original goal of this podcast was simply just to talk about Major Dome and the openings and the ideas and failures and trials tribulations.
