it. How do organizations deal with the situation of a big league call up of a top prospect?

So this sounds like a very technical question, but it's not. I want to discuss exactly what

the mindset is for an organization because this year, there was a collective bargaining

negotiation that we detailed on nothing personal. And one of the things that mattered most

to the players in theory, not really true, but what they said mattered the most to the

players was getting younger players paid more money earlier in their career and no more

service time manipulation. Service time manipulation is when you call up a player who has been

ready for some time, but you delay the call up to the big leagues because you do not want

that player to reach arbitration any earlier than he absolutely has to and you don't want

that player to reach free agency any earlier than he has to. So let's review and define terms.
