and his decade-spending journey with Felicia Montalegra. A love letter to life and art,

their relationship is an emotionally epic portrayal of endurance, passion, and family.

In addition to Maestro, Cooper's debut feature, 2018's A Star is Born, earned him DGA Award

nominations for outstanding directorial achievement in both the feature film and first-time

feature film categories. Following a screening of the film at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles, Cooper spoke with

director Todd Phillips about filming Maestro.
