WDC, it'll likely be seen as behind the times. Never mind the fact that

Syria is on every iPhone, iPad, Mac, and to a lesser extent, Apple TV, putting

Siri on a bunch of boxes.

Amazon has Echo observes the Mac Observer. Google has Holmes, says the piece, and now Microsoft is getting it on the game too.

Microsoft's device is called Invoke.

According to the report Invoke copies the form factor Amazon introduced with the echo and Google

copied with home. It's a cylinder with speakers and microphones packed inside

that looks surprisingly similar to the echo but also like a knockoff. Invocable services will include streaming

music, searching bing, controlling smart home devices, and making and taking calls over Skype.

No word on when Vogue will hit the market just sometime later this year.

There's also no word on what it will cost.

The TMO figures Mr.Softy aim for the $100 to $150 range in line with

Google Home and the Amazon Echo without a screen.
