It'll be a while before we can say day to day that Apple has a

market cap of 800 billion dollars or more, but we can say that before the

bell today. Mac Daily News says Apple hit a new all-time closing high of $153.96 on Tuesday.

That gave the company a market value of $8002.72 billion dollars according to the site.

According the report, the top five US publicly traded companies based on market value are Apple,

802.72 billion alphabet aka Google at 653.29 billion

Microsoft at 533.02 billion Amazon.com at 455.42 billion, and Facebook rounds out the top five at

435.99 billion.

The Mac Observer says Apple has sent out invitations to select members of the media, inviting them to the opening address of Worldwide Developer Conference 2017.
