Apple is within striking distance of an $800 billion market cap.

Barron says at one point on Monday,

Apple shares hit an all-time split adjusted high of $153.25 just a hair

shy of 800 billion according to the site. The company's Monday rise may have been

driven in part by a note from Drexel

Hamilton analyst Brian White.

El Blanco upped his 12-month price target on shares of the Cupertino company

from $185 to $202.

Of course he has a buy rating on the shares as well.

The way he sees it, the improving sentiment around Apple remains in the early stages of

unfolding and the stock offers attractive upside for investors.

Quoting his note further, Apple's valuation has been depressed for years as investors

grew a concern that Apple would fall victim to the missteps of

consumer electronic companies of the past.
