Something's eating one of Apple's products, but it's likely okay with Apple since the thing eating that

product is another Apple product. The Street had the financial and market analytics firm

Treffis issuing a note last week noting a potential decline in iPad

mini sales at the hands of iPhone 6 plus. There have been concerns for a while

that iPad sales were slipping. These were brought up again in

the Traffis note which pointed to the quarter over quarter and year over year decline for

iPad sales in the third quarter of calendar year 2014.

While analysts have puzzled over such declines for a while now, at least this time,

Trevis thinks it's Apple's bigger than bigger phone that's filling the gap.
