E-Y-E-I-Chart magazine, available for iOS Newsstand now. It seems as if most of the news of 2014 has been about

2015. For most of the year the world did not know that. The I watch dominated

tech news for a good bit of the past 12 months. Other

wearables would also get coverage, but that was mostly due to anticipation around the

I-watch, which many, if not most, expected to launch in time for the just past Christmas shopping season.

That did of course end up not being the case.

The I-Watch won't be out until sometime in early 2015, and it won't be called I watch either. At least not

intentionally it's Apple watch or it will be and T-Mobile CEO John Ledger

says it'll be the tipping point for wearable technology.

9-to-5 Mac had the bad boy of wireless CEOs tossing in his two cents in a blog post this week.

Samsung LG Microsoft and others are doing in the wearable space but we haven't begun to see the

potential of this category it's going to go from one to

twenty billion dollars in the next few years and though we won't see its full impact in

2015 I believe that the Apple watch will mark the tipping point when wearables go from niche to mainstream.

Hey I just thought of an app that I want for Apple Watch, by the way.

How about one that replicates the sounds of the movements of a mechanical watch?
