All right, so let me start with what went down last night. It's Cripped. I mean, like any other trade,

arguably the biggest trade in NBA history, is going to ultimately be judged in the long term.

It's going to be judged based on the big picture success

of both franchises over the next few seasons.

Now, if you're the Mavericks, you know,

they made that deal and they said,

it's for the right now.

It's for now and for the future.

Time will tell who wins out.

However, however, and we know the Lakers made this deal long term.

But as of right now, at this point, I would say it's pretty undeniable.

The early returns look pretty horrible for the Mavericks.

And at the same time, the early returns look pretty incredible for the engagement farmers.

At least Laker fan had the decency to take advantage of the chance to thank Nico Harrison personally last night.

I thought that was very polite of that.
