Luigi Mangione is back in court this week for a series of pretrial hearings with his lawyers

looking to get certain evidence dropped from the case.

His team wants to block prosecutors from presenting evidence.

Police say was found in Mangione's backpack, including a 3D printed gun, silencer,

electronic devices and journal writings that appear to

implicate him in the shooting. They also want to suppress statements he gave to police during his

arrest, saying police did not give the now 27-year-old proper notice of his legal rights.

Two Pennsylvania correction officers who were guarding him testified about their interactions

with the wealthy Ivy League grad, portraying him as a good

prisoner talked about his travels, books, and the differences between public and private health

insurance. Manchioni was arrested last December and charged with shooting and killing United

Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson outside of a hotel in Midtown Manhattan. There's more on the story
