Today we're talking to my friend Lucy Bartholomew who is an Australian professional ultra

slash Trailrunner. She's's 24 so she's my age and she's also a huge

foodie and we have a lot in common and I thought would be really cool to have her come

on the podcast and share a little bit about trail running because something I don't really

know much about and she's elite most notably in my mind in 2018 she took third

for females in the Western states which you guys might be familiar with.

But that's enough of me talking.

Let's just get straight into the episode. All right Lucy, welcome to the podcast. I'm excited to have you on. I don't think we've ever actually like talk face to face. So it's nice to finally connect via Zoom.

How are you doing?

Yeah, hey Emma, yeah, it's, I know,

it's the first time I've actually gotten to speak to you,

not through Instagram or through messages. yeah it's good I'm in Australia

it's cold but it is getting warmer and the days are getting longer so it's the only way is up from here. That's great it's so

funny to even think about that I don't think about that often because our days are

getting shorter and it's getting colder so we're headed into the winter you're

headed into the summer which you're headed into the summer, which is bizarre.

My brain can't comprehend it.

I don't think I've ever been anywhere that has a change in season like that for me.

It's like the opposite.

So... Yeah, and it's funny because I'm normally I travel with the summers so right now I would usually be

While I would be coming back to Australia, but I would have not endured a winter I would have been in America or in Europe.
